This post looks at the tenth of the visualization types created for the MeSch museum post-visit visualization tool. Click here for overview.
This visualisation was created exclusively for the Atlantikwall exhibition based on the stamps used on the physical postcard that exhibition visitors received.
The images used on the physical postcard were a series of stamps designed by Paddy McEntaggart. For this visualisation a book was used as the background on which to display each stamp that corersponded with a point-of-interest that the visitor experienced.
Clicking on a stamp generates a pop-up overlay presenting the user with content about that particular point-of-interest in the language they choose while at the physical exhibition.
Each site visitor will only see the stamps for the points they have visited.
This visualisation relies on colorbox. Code for the above implementation can be found on BitBucket here.
