Mini Journal Pencil Case

I got fed up of loosing my pens in my handbag, so I threw together this mini journal pencil case. It’s just the right size for carrying around a pen, a pencil, an eraser and a highlighter pen. The elastic strap at the back means it stays attached to the front of my journal, so I always know where to find it.

I was inspired by the version from Dylusions, but didn’t want to be lugging around anything quite so big.

This is a free-styled make. There’s no pattern for this Mini Journal Pencil Case. It’s just a band of elastic, a zip and some leftover fabric, sewn together. I made the case first and then sewed the elastic strap to the case at the very end. Nothing fancy, you can probably figure it out yourself from the pictures above.

More on my Traveler’s notebook obsession here.
