Lately I’ve been trying new things while attempting to use up some of my stash. On one of my various crafting deep dives I came across this wonderful video on how to make felted fabric from wool fibre:
Following the instructions I gathered up the necessary gear, including some pieces of leftover batts of various fibre composition.
The first attempt appeared to go fairly smoothly. The second was slightly less successful. I suspect the green fibres from my stash were silk rather than wool, though I suspect the piece will just about hold together.
It didn’t take me long to produce 3 felted fabric pieces. I suspect these are destined for a future slow stitching/art journaling project.
