I’ve been missing all the lovely hand dyed yarn so readily available when I was living in the UK. I suppose it’s still available now, I just have to order it online and accept the extortionate postal costs to Ireland plus the double vat 🙁 To cheer myself up I knitted up a quick cup cosy using some of the yarny lovelyness I managed to find back in my pre-covid UK days. This little sleeve will keep my delicate wee handicans (read hands) from getting burnt by my to-go tea.
